The Division of Forestry has staff in Frankfort as well as throughout the state.  The Frankfort staff administers the division's programs and operations, while the district staff provides services to citizens statewide.

District staff are assigned to one of nine offices across the state to help develop and implement the division's programs, such as wildfire suppression and enforcement, landowner stewardship, forestry education and information, timber harvesting inspections, forest health monitoring and reforestation projects.  District staff also provide an important link with landowners, loggers, rural fire departments, teachers, cooperating resource agencies and many others who share an interest in forestry.
