Marion County Wildlife Management Area and State ForestThe Marion County Wildlife Management Area and State Forest is a 1,293-acre tract of land located east of Lebanon on Siloam Road.  The property is strategically located between Green River Lake State Park, Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, Old Fort Harrod State Park and the Lincoln Homestead State Park.  The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, Marion County Fiscal Court and the Kentucky Division of Forestry cooperatively own and manage the property. The property was purchased with funding from the Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund, Wildlife Restoration AHeritage Land Conservation Fund logoct and the Kentucky Fish and Game Fund.

The Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund receives part of its land acquisition funding from the nature license plate program.  The federal aid money is derived from federal excise taxes collected from manufacturers of sporting firearms, ammunition, pistols and archery equipment. The Fish and Game Fund is derived from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses, as well as boat licensing.

The Marion County Wildlife Management Area and State Forest is open for regulated public hunting, hiking and wildlife viewing.  Off-road vehicles, including ATVs and horseback riding, is prohibited.  Property boundaries are marked with signs and blazed with yellow paint.
